Zimbra, Outlook working w/ Exchange or status quo?
Set up servers to create an Active Directory System. (We'll run this while we run our current system for about a year.) We'll then set up file servers in ES/MS to move users to file space on Windows servers instead of Network servers. Names will be the same since they are coming from e-directory. Teachers won't notice which server they are on. As we get rid of Netware servers, we'll set up Exchange servers. Timeline for email is Christmas 2011. Calendaring system rollout to occur in August 2012.

Purchasing Discussion
Timeframe is expanded to get items because of additional hoops for Orion. Andy will help schedule a meeting before summer between TRFs and Purchasing.
LCD spare supply is limited. Orion will order more spare projectors and place them in TRF names for check out when bulbs burn out.
Computer bags - if bags break, keep the old bag and give the student a new one. Give broken bags to Andy
iLife 11 and MS Office 11 Site License will be on new image. Will determine if CS5 is needed after survey to teachers
Equitrac still down consistently in Pudong. Equitrac says it's fixed but it's not. Orion will organize setting up Pudong Equitrac server.
iWeb - Apache or IS server for iWeb will allow us to reverse proxy from Pudong with iWeb. Some functionality will be lost but Orion will start testing. Teachers and students will have limits set at 1GB for each user. Users should still use the video portal to house videos. Pages and Keynotes can go to iWeb directly. Photos should be saved in a small size. Next steps, come up with formal iWeb policy.
Portal Discussion
Effective Monday portal.saschina.org will redirect to sasoc.saschina.org. Doug Loomer will add a link to Facilities Calendars under the Staff section. Edmodo will be taken off.
Staff Last Email Access
The last day staff can login to Groupwise will be the last day of school. They may put in an auto-forward and it will forward email to their personal account for 30 days. If they would like to set up Groupwise Offline/Cache before they leave and back up that file, they may do so.
